Enhancing Lives with Comfortable Prosthetics
The history of prosthetic technology is a tribute to human ingenuity and the pursuit of mobility. For decades, innovators have pushed boundaries, bringing hope and ever-advancing solutions to those living with limb loss.
Yet, prosthetics still fall short for some. Standardised liners, while being a foundational building block of prosthetic technology, don’t fit everyone — sometimes limiting potential instead of unlocking it.
On the other hand, making custom liners at scale raises major challenges. But if users outdo themselves daily, shouldn’t prosthetic providers rise to the challenge of mass customization?
At MotionTech, we’ve been doing just that since 2017 — pioneering custom liners to transform lives.
Our mission: enhancing lives, one at a time, by striving to deliver the best possible liner.
MotionTech at a glance
Rooted in the Swiss engineering ecosystem, MotionTech is a technology-driven company, focused on advancing silicone 3D-printing innovation as well as the digital technologies around it.
If innovative technology is the key, we believe success comes from getting great solutions directly into the hands of end users — that’s why we focus on delivering them, not just inventing them.
To ensure optimal service quality, our production is done entirely in-house: from design, 3D printing, suspension and textile processing to quality control, our products never leave our hands before they reach yours.
MotionTech’s journey started in 2017. Since then, our team has grown to 15 people, we have fitted hundreds of patients worldwide, and gained the trust of industry leaders.
Holder of more than 15 innovation awards, MotionTech’s technological innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, disruptive vision and commercial successes have been recognised across the industry.
MotionTech was born out of research and development performed jointly by two Swiss engineering universities: EPFL & HEIG-VD. Pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing, we have developed the first silicone 3D printing technology dedicated to the specificities of the O&P industry. To leverage its potential, we are proud to present Your® Liner, the first 3D printed silicone liner.
Located in Lausanne, at the heart of the Swiss Health Valley, our smart manufacturing facility is now providing our next-generation custom prosthetic liners to O&P professionals throughout Europe.
