How satisfied are our customers about Your® Liner?

You just found out about Your® Liner and wonder what other people think of it? Or you’ve known about it for a while but don’t know what to expect?

Since June 2021, we’ve given prosthetic technicians the possibility to give feedback about a fitting they just made, through a simple online form — every time they order a renewal liner for the same patient. This article presents the full analysis of that data, collected from June 2021 up to the study’s cut-off in February 2023.

How prosthetists grade Your® Liner

To the question “Grade how satisfied you were with the following aspects of Your® Liner”, 59 feedbacks were provided — and every single one was included in the analysis. Grades run from 1 (not at all satisfied) to 5 (fully satisfied):

Four criteria received outstanding grades, with a median of 5 / 5: fit of the liner (4.7), thickness profile (4.6), lead time (4.5) and service & support (4.9). Workmanship quality (4.4), feel (4.3) and textile aesthetics (4.1) follow close behind — a level of consistency that reflects the attention our team gives every single liner.

What did Your® Liner change for prosthetic users?

Prosthetists whose patient wore a liner from another manufacturer before were also asked: “How did Your® Liner impact the following aspects compared to your patient’s previous liner” — 47 fittings qualified. The scale runs from −2 (much worse) to +2 (much better):

Overall satisfaction — arguably the most important criterion — is where Your® Liner scores +1.8 out of +2, with a median at the maximum grade. Complaints about painful areas improved by +1.6, comfort by +1.5 and skin injuries by +1.3. And in the spirit of honest reporting: on sweating (+0.3) and donning & doffing (+0.4) the impact is minor — no liner wins everywhere.

How the study was run

The questionnaire was deliberately kept short — prosthetists answer on their own time — and its criteria were trimmed down from the Prosthetic Evaluation Questionnaire to the aspects a liner can actually influence. It is not a validated clinical instrument, and feedback given at renewal time naturally reflects successful fittings; the full methodology and limitations are described in the report.
